This book was written in the 1980's and for today's standard, it is definitely politically incorrect in places, especially with the 'n****r' word. It is used in a humorous context. I think a lot of people who have not heard of Spike Milligan, may not get his humour.
The book was funny in places and lacking in other places. But generally I think the humour is pretty outdated now.
